  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  5. Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
