  • 4 cups marinara sauce

  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook ziti pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  • Add ground beef or chicken, cook until browned. Season with basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce.
