Cheeseburger Sliders With Hawaiian Rolls make an easy, crowd-pleasing meal. These mini burgers are full of flavor, featuring savory ground beef, melted cheese, and buttery, sweet Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for gatherings or a quick dinner, they’re simple to prepare and always a hit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced onions until soft, about 3 minutes. Add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the rolls. Layer cheddar cheese slices on top, covering the beef.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. Brush melted butter over the tops and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and rolls are warm.
  • Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes to brown the tops slightly. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm, adding lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles if desired.

Notes

  • You can add sliced jalapeños for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute cheddar with your preferred cheese for different flavors.
  • These sliders can be prepped ahead and baked just before serving.
