Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 8 slices cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • Fresh lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  • Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on a baking sheet. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the buns.
  • Lay cheese slices over the beef, covering the entire surface. Place the top buns over the cheese.
  • Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  • Serve warm with fresh lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles, if desired.

Notes

  • You can customize the sliders by adding your favorite sauces or condiments.
  • For extra flavor, use different types of cheese or add sliced jalapeños.
