  • 12 slider rolls or dinner rolls, halved
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the bottom half of the slider rolls in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the rolls.
  • Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the sauce.
  • Place the top half of the slider rolls over the cheese.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture over the top of the rolls.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, toast the bottom half of the rolls slightly before adding the chicken.
  • You can use store-bought rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Feel free to add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
