Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 cups mixed greens or arugula
  • 8 slices of cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Mayonnaise for spreading (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Cranberry Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, honey, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens (about 10 minutes). Let cool.
  2. Prepare the Turkey Patties: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 12 small patties.
  3. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Spread mayonnaise (if using) on the bottom half of each slider bun. Place a turkey patty, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, a slice of cheese (if using), and mixed greens. Top with the upper bun half.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm, and enjoy your delicious cranberry turkey sliders!

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute honey with maple syrup for a different flavor profile.
  • For added flavor, you can toast the slider buns in the skillet before assembling.
  • These sliders pair well with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
