  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (5 oz) pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

 

  1. Cook the pasta al dente according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage with diced onions until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. In the crockpot, combine the cooked pasta, meat mixture, pizza sauce, water, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Layer half of the shredded cheeses and optional toppings like bell peppers, mushrooms, and pepperoni. Stir gently.
  5. Top the casserole with the remaining cheeses and arrange additional pepperoni slices on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
