  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned.
  • In a small bowl, mix bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and vinegar.
  • Pour the sauce into the skillet with the chicken. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  • For a thicker sauce, dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the sauce during the last 5 minutes.
