This Easy Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs recipe is a delicious and cheesy twist on classic meatballs. Packed with gooey mozzarella cheese and a savory blend of seasonings, they’re perfect for a comforting family dinner or a party appetizer.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 6-8 mozzarella cheese cubes
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  • Take a small amount of meat mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a mozzarella cube in the center, then wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
  • Repeat with the remaining meat mixture and cheese cubes.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  • Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan and serve the meatballs with the sauce.

Notes

  • Use low-moisture mozzarella for better results.
  • Serve with pasta, zoodles, or as a sandwich filling for variety.
  • Freeze raw meatballs for up to 3 months; thaw before baking.
