1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
6-8 mozzarella cheese cubes
1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
Take a small amount of meat mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a mozzarella cube in the center, then wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
Repeat with the remaining meat mixture and cheese cubes.
Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan and serve the meatballs with the sauce.
Notes
Use low-moisture mozzarella for better results.
Serve with pasta, zoodles, or as a sandwich filling for variety.
Freeze raw meatballs for up to 3 months; thaw before baking.
