  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute.

  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (2–3 minutes per side).

  • Pour in white wine and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes.

 

  • Stir in parsley, remove from heat, and serve hot with pasta or bread.

Notes

  • Substitute wine with chicken broth for an alcohol-free version.
