  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain the excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker.
  • Add beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and broth.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
