1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cooked angel hair pasta (optional, for serving)
Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.
