  • 1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and slice.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for 2 minutes.
  • Add heavy cream, chicken broth, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese. Stir and simmer for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the cooked tortellini and chicken slices to the sauce, tossing everything together.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
