  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Gradually stir in shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until smooth and creamy. Add cayenne pepper for extra heat, if desired.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the cheese sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
