  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups M&Ms (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  • Fold in 1 1/2 cups M&Ms.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Press a few extra M&Ms on top of each cookie for a colorful finish.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
  • Cool on a wire rack before serving.
