4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 slices of Swiss cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup milk
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place chicken breasts in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
Lay a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast.
In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth. Pour over the chicken and cheese.
Sprinkle seasoned breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
Drizzle melted butter over the breadcrumbs.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or onion powder to the soup mixture.
Use low-sodium soup and breadcrumbs if you prefer a lower-sodium option.
