This easy Swiss chicken casserole recipe is a comforting dinner featuring tender chicken, melty Swiss cheese, and a buttery breadcrumb topping. Perfect for weeknight meals!

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place chicken breasts in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Lay a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth. Pour over the chicken and cheese.
  • Sprinkle seasoned breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the breadcrumbs.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
